hey! just a question? does petitboot show the /dev/ps3dd block device?
if not you must run a script called create_hdd_region.sh ow whatever... Anyway yes you fetch a vanilla kernel from kernel.org and then go here: http://gitorious.ps3dev.net/ps3linux <- to fetch glevand's kernel config and patches for your desired kernel version |

Thanks
yes petitboot does show me the entry to /dev/ps3dd1 and the kernel boots.after that... It stops and can not find /dev/ps3dd1 (no root block device). |
