[Released] Killerbug's PS3Z - New PS3 Fan Controller
PS3 Hardware Modifier and fellow PS3HaX member Killerbug has released an easier version of his fan controller mod, this new version allows you to control fan speed, without opening your console:

but u have to open it to install it lol,
and if u turn it all way down wouldnt ps3 just overheat after a while

You would keep the fans quiet if you weren't doing anything to intensive with your PS3 like watching Netflix. Turn it up if you feel your system needs it while playing games and ****. If the noise bothers you so much at full speed, then play your games louder lol.

Ok, so this is for ps3 phat systems? From what i know slim ps3's has overheat protection and fan controller built in, no?

Sorry about the video quality; my cat chewed up the charging cable for my good camera, so I had to use my Droid.
Yes, the system will overheat if you turn the fan so low that it is practically off...and your car will overheat if you drain the coolant from the radiator too...but who would be dumb enough to do either? |

@KILLERBUG you would be surprised at the amount of people that burn up their engines because of stupidity and you'll probably be surprised at how many people burn up their ps3's and blame you. Not me though I'm gonna use this on a BC YLOD I've fixed twice. Thanks.
