on lookin in to it, The ps3's usb port is only 2.5v 500Ma so its not gona have enough power for 20 led's so im gona use the blue ray drive power which is 12v.

all i go to do now is get a board and solder some resistors to it add a switch and then run wires to the leds and power supply.

also does the wiring diagram above look right....just checking

Ive often wired leds into ps3s. Your right to use the 12v dcpower from the blu-ray drive but you might be better off buy some LEDs for a car which is also 12v dc, much easier to work with and there are a **** load on ebay, all shapes and sizes, wired and ready to go...
