[Updated] Mednafen PS3 - Multi-System emulator - PS3Hax Network

The Port of Mednafen, a Multi-system Emulator has been updated. The Atari 2600 Emulator Stella is now included in it and the code has been improved a lot. Thanks to Robo Hobo for this great piece of Software!

I also saw PCSX reloaded in the list. Does it work. I have yet to try it (ps3 is tied up at the moment)

I don't even know HOW to get netplay working.

EDI; DAMMIT I think I need a 32 bit computer to get that server thing working. Which I lack.

whereas PS3SX you have to go set it up at every try of a game, plus the ps1 games mednafen does run you get a much overall better graphics, some shaders even get rid of the jaggies you do get about the same FPS, but i won a game of 3D pong what would be really cool if the emu dons robo hobo and squarepusher2 to team up and see what comes..

Here's a old version of the readme (has not been updated since Jan 11, 2011)

Netplay Part:

Netplay uses a client/server model as opposed to a peer-to-peer
Netplay requires the 'mednafen-server' package from http://sourceforge.net/projects/mednafen/files/

Set Up:
Press R3 to open the settings menu and select Netplay.

Set 'host' and 'port' to the address of the Netplay server

Set 'username' and 'password' to the login of the Netplay server

Set 'gameid' to the unique ID for the game (every player wanting to play together should use the same ID)

Is commands menu chose 'Connect Netplay' to connect to server

During Netplay press both R2 and R3 to disconnect from the server

Caveats:
Attempting to access an unavailable server may delay the PS3 for over minute before the host lookup times out.

btw. PSX-scene ripped of this article and pictures without sourcing...
