Change it to "Hermes", restart your PS3, start multiMAN, go to the game settings, set the PERMISSIONS and then try to direct-boot the game.

Let me know how it went.
I'll test this tonight - but I'm pretty sure I have it set to Hermes.

Hey Dean, Just tried your suggestion. I was right - it was already set on Hermes, and still doesn't work in 2.05.05.

In fact, in the older version 2.00.01 - it works properly on either setting, Standard or Hermes. But in the later version, neither one works.

If you still have a working original I suggest maybe backing it up again.. For some reason a few months back i had an issue with GTA4 not booting, (delete the game and Game DATA on XMB) then re install... Worth a try, if you haven't done that yet

That was actually the first thing I tried.

It's not a matter of not booting. The game boots and runs. The problem is that the Career Save doesn't work in the new version of MM. But it still works just fine in the older MM, and when running from the Blu-Ray. It appears the change that was made to copy the LICDIR and TROPDIR folders when using Direct Boot somehow fubars the Career Save in Ghostbosters, but in all the previous versions of MM before that change was made, the Save works just fine.

thanks for your hard work dean!

Can you look into making the music and video section show the folders that are on the disk? like in the original XMB. like, when i enter music, firstly i can select albums or singles, if i go into albums, my albums show up in folders.

and video; i enter video, tv shows, movies and some other folder appear. you know, just plain like in the original xmb. if this can be arranged, could you make it so that there is no limit to how deep the folder structure can go? in the XMB i can go; video>tv shows>star trek TNG>ST TNG 1x01.

if i go from star trek TNG>season 1> nothing shows up. sorry for how i word myself here, but its really late, but i think you understand what i mean!

again, thanks for everything so far dean!

I works exactly as the original XMB and it can go 32 levels deep, provided that the path does not exceed 512 characters.
