People don't seen to see the positive side in all of this.
Most of us had the chance to choose between OFW and CFW at some point, for those who chose OFW over CFW and now are regretting it, this can be another opportunity for them.
That's how i see it.

3.56+ cfw will come when it comes,
stop spamming! already

instead of 2 times 45 minutes dumping/flashing, do it in 10minutes or less

<%eussNL> and about the speed: Infectus2 needs 45minutes per NAND, so 90min total for reflashing. // FPGA´s like Marcan used with Noraliser and others like Pappilion, Progskeet etc. take maximum 10minutes (sometimes it can take 1min to do 16MB)

ps how do you quote lol
You quote by clicking the quote button under their post and then typing in your response under the quoted text.

And just because we have a dump doesn't mean we have the keys. There is more work involved. The keys are contained in the dump though, yes.

Think of the dump being an open mine and the keys are gold. Just because you have access to the mine doesn't mean you know where the gold is

Well if you want my opinion, a step forward in the right direction, keep up the great work team behind the Project. Hope to see some fascinating results.
A great step for the community a small step for Sony.

I would prefer if we dumped it and a window pops in in big neon letters showing us the keys but Sony's gotta be a b**** right?

will this need to be soldered to the NAND?

I have been thinking about having an expert install the infectus chip for me because i want to be able to have a working NAND backup in case i ever run into an RSOD from my NAND getting corrupted.

This guy (site listed below) did an awesome job installing Infectus shown here but maybe I will wait for this, especially if it doesnt require soldering.
