Hi there. Is there a homebrew of sorts that flashes a backup of the NAND or NOR
to the existing one? I'm not sure if you guys know what i'm talking about. PSP has one named NandFlasher, as several others which name i don't recall.

Any help is appreciated

I don't think there is. If there was there would be no need for e3 flasher, progskeet, or teensy++.

There's not much of a need, since we have FSM, Recovery and can just install PUP files..

Even if a flasher was written, it wouldn't work on 3.60+ which is the main reason people buy the hardware versions atm.

You can easily dump the NAND from Otheros++
just type in the folllowing command and you should (almost) have a complete dump
though you still need to unmask

dd if=/dev/ps3flash of=NAND.BIN bs=1024

The purpose of it would be to test and use on downgraded consoles UNDER OR EQUAL 3.55. I wish to do some testing on some versions by patching, thus, i need to swap but i can't do that with a downgraded console, since the NOR/NAND is FIXED on 3.55 and i require a hardware flasher everytime i need to swap again
