and i don't think anyone has the roofkey, only sony
but i do think there are ppl that have the public and the private key's but are to affraid, Sony will find you. that's it.

i really hope they can fully integrate the cobra payload, so i finally can play mine good old ps2 backups

Every ps3 has it's own unique root key, all it takes is for someone to get their root key and decrypt everything else, giving them on a silver platter the public keys . it's just getting the root key is a b*tch

i just downgraded from 3.55 kmeaw to OFW 3.41 using this qa flag method successfully on my launch 60gb BC console. Right now i am running Hermes 3.41 CFW on payload v4 so whenever this new JFW hits, i am returning to OFW 3.41...then the real fun begins. PS2 BC I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

Why did you downgrade?
Im seriously curious, as im still jailbreakin via an evo, and is very wary of updating, as everyone of my backups work without issues, besides AC:B, which I goy working through some hoops

well, this JFW is looking promising & the dev did state no 3.55 support, so when this CFW/MFW releases, i can jump right in b/c i want that PS2 BC right away, don't intended to wait for a 3.55 port. as of now for 3.41 CFW, i did have to do some eboot patching here & there for some of my games but nothing too hard if you have patience. Other than that, Hermes CFW 3.41 runs just fine & so do my psn titles.
