i just want to flash it with ofw using teensy.

do i still have to follow this?

- Dump NOR (multiple times to be safe) and verify with norpatch.exe (included) - Grab a modified CORE_OS (the steps/updated script to do this are a few pages back - Open a hex editor with your NOR and the modified CORE_OS - Copy all contents within the modified CORE_OS - Using the hex editor search for "6FFFE0" in your original NOR and replace the copied contents of the modified CORE_OS after the second "6FFFE0" - Lastly, flash your console with your new modified NOR * quoted wizdumb post 189

my problem is i got the hex editor but there is no offset 000c0000(http://img594.imageshack.us/img594/74/nordump.jpg)
also my norpatch gives me this result (http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/4990/norpatch.jpg) the rsod came after an update. does this just mean that the memory is corrupted and i have no hope?

Have you compared your dumps to see if they match? Something is wrong if norpatch.exe wasn't able to detect your fw version. I have a dump from a RSOD machine and it is still able to show the info in at least the R0S0 and R0S1 areas. You might want to check your wiring. And if your board so happens to have a Samsung NOR, take your time as NORway is only able to write to Spansion NOR flash at the moment.

And increase your screen resolution and/or get a bigger monitor..

Please keep in mind that norpatch can only identify OFWs. So if you've been on a CFW before, that result is normal.

Did you see the news about 3.70 downgrade, its guide very confusing. When we compare with judges' dump patching guide, it is different but results must be same, right?. I cant verify cuz i cant understand 3.70 downgrade guide. Any idea?

I didn't check in detail, but it's indeed a little more complicated than it could be. At least the "flowrebuilder" thingy that reverses byte order is totally not required for NORway. Don't really know why progskeet would reverse byte order..

And yes, the result most certainly is the same. The only "complicated" thing about the way I've described it, is to patch core_os, because I simply didn't want to post a pre-patched core_os for (c) reasons.

Hello,

i have problems dumping the Spansion-NOR of my CECHH04 (DIA-001) with Teensy.
The command "norway.py com3" works fine, but everytime when I try to dump,
the Teensy immediately loose the USB-Connection to PC and Norway 0.3 returns
with an error.

My PS3 is not bricked and I´m using the "no voltage regulator mod" for my Teensy.

I think you need regulator.maybe teensy cant get enough voltage or even worse get more voltage.I suggest do not attemp without regulator.
