Wondering if I am missing something here

Hello all,

First off, nice looking program Judges. I am on a CECHL04 MB version VER-001. I think my problem is probably due to the board. I have verified my original dump with norpatch.exe. I have been able to flash several different CFW's but I end up getting trophy errors sporadically. I thought maybe this was just the CFW I was using, but I have tried building my own, rebug, kmean 3.55 no check, rogero and the OtherOS versions. I have been able to install each of them, but I still get the errors. I have been using the dospiedra v2 downgrade method. Has anyone else been having this issue and if so...any luck fixing it?

Thanks in advance

You begin that process by putting the jig in the right most usb port. Once it shutsdown replace your jig with a usb drive that has your PS3UPDAT.pup and the hacked Lv2diag.self. The PS3 will stay on for a bit and then shutdown again. You can check the jaicrab logfile created to make sure the update was applied correctly. If so, delete the logfile and replace the hacked Lv2diag.self with the standard 3.55 file. The PS3 will power on and then reboot again. You should now be in your CFW.

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, I have read the five of those already. I have tried both the initial release of rogero's cfw created from a standard PUP as well as the version 2 based off of kmeaw. I am not experiencing the blueray playback problem. The third link is related to rogero v1 which I have also read and tried. The Progskeet article while interesting, I think is irrelevant to my issue since the fix was to upgrade his version of winskeet. The last link is a good collection of homebrew apps, but doesn't address the issue.

Additionally, I have also attempted altering the binary flash directly with visual studio. After reading a breakdown on demonhades.org, I have an additional question. Does the PS3UPDAT.PUP write different files to the flash based on the board revision. The PS3 dev wiki had a binary patch specific to JTP-001 boards. I have not seen this answered in my reading, but my guess would be that during the upgrade process a flash (or write to flash is generated based upon board revision, and perhaps other factors

I was only trying to let you know that other people have had trophy errors after downgrading.

3 GND pionts soldered.
Teensy resoldered twice.

Usually chip manufacturer and type detects correctly, but sometimes chip manufacturer and/or type are "unknown".

Any Ideas?
When I resolder Teensy to 5V - I get many correct dumps with identical MD5 and norpatch recognize correct PRG0,PRG1,ROS0,ROS1.
It do not wont to write in 5V-mode. I make "erasechip" and now I can not programm it.
