Lights, camera, action is what the man said
as the lights came down on the clowns red head
the crowds and smiles as the music plays
the clown sheds a tear as the music plays

you cannot kill what has no life
dancing on stage for son and daughter, husband and wife
ten more clowns join him on stage
they continue dancing as the music plays

ewwwww no offence but i hate poetry its like reading difficult words which have 100 different meanings

A poetry thread! Quite interesting. I've got a lot of poems at home that I wrote in my high school years.

The very first one I wrote, we got a week to write one for an English assignment. I didn't do it, and came to class and had to hand it in. Wrote one on the spot and my English teacher looked so deep into it. And then referred me to the English head at our University.

Needless to say, I was dumb and never followed up with it. Could have been quite a ride. I love writing! Here's a piece I wrote a couple years ago..

~Headventures~

Empty sky, empty brain,
Daylight breaks, no more rain.
Flooded chasms, embers of water,
stuck inside watching Harry Potter.

Melting sun, falling up,
fill the void, fill my cup.
See the wind, hear the snow,
safely warm, away we go.

Daring thoughts of this and that,
playing dress up with my cat.
Gentle silence stirs the clouds,
quarter to midnight, morning darkness shrouds.

Mr. Rogers on TV,
wanting him to tickle me.
Turn the knob, slowly walk,
a conversation with my clock.

A book of something, anything, whatever,
Collections of dictionaries go on forever.
A mystic legend of deception and doubt,
only, he's just a lunatic, who really likes to shout.

Believe in the man with the cast iron hat,
and his friend the midget, who dresses like your cat.
For they are your friends, in your dreams they survive,
Woah, hey what a dream. mmmm 5-Alive

There's no right or wrong. You just write what you feel. Don't ever let anybody tell you it's wrong, or you're not good at something. Otherwise you'll just fool yourself into thinking that.
