which show time are you using axel. ? I am trying one that was made with a bigger buffer, and then added the watchtv plugin after and seems to work very well with once unplayable HD films from the drives.

Drawback tho, you do have to pause it and let the buffer fill up to get the best play back.

So if that's the case with video internet streams maybe? then that may explain the blank screens when the buffers filling up, or the opposite and runs out of space. Many of you are using only 10megs buffer and the one I'm trying is a 100megs, and you maybe using something like it axel.

Thanks. Looks like I got it working. I didn't realize the country.xml and genres.xml had to be outside the list directory. I left them inside the list directory.

Thanks programer whats the difference between RTMP and RTSP streams anyway
I made my own website using dropbox, I just took all the channels from various genres that I like put them in there own xml file double checked everything and it was perfect to how Piatius47 showed me!
Created my own dropbox website!!!
Then edited my watch tv file here is an example:
"mainwebsite":"http://dl.dropbox.com/u/360776",
"website":"MARKY::http://dl.dropbox.com/u/38533125/",
"country":"uk",
"timeout":20
and placed the wathtv file in the proper place
Thing is I thought that the website marky would only show the channels that I created in my own MARKY list of that Url (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/38533125/), but it dont, it shows all channels, I thought it would only show the ones I created the website with!!!!
P.S oh yeah the numbers in that url are only examples as I want to keep my own dropbox site private

HI can any one get FOXTEL streams FOXTEL in Australia is the main cable tv company espn showtime cnn uktv etc , you can get FOXTEL streamed to your XBOX360 so the streams ar out there some were ie thwy have USA ESPN

thank you so much this build works fine, i did download from redsquirrel last time but i download v3.1.164tv.pkg which did not work this is the video pkg which works fine. thanks

I have tried this feed but there are alot of channels that either show an error or crash the ps3 I have tried with both the latest watchtv and the old watch tv I thought i seen a post by you saying you wrote a program that will auto update broken channels. is that not working?
hope we can get this to work without errors if you need any more help then let me know.

that one decides where country xml and genres xml get loaded from.
so if you want to create you own genres or countries than post it to your own hosting.
and place country xml / genre xml outside of the list folder
