Hi, do you know if they're still trying to get the DNS type connection to all these streams instead of I.P?, or has that been abandoned?, also the proper local streams, rather than being diverted through x,y,z....

Abandoned I reckon, because I am sick trying to keep updating xml files for crap quality tv channels that need re-editing every 15 minutes, sry for being so negative, but to learn so much and in the end it just stops because it aint worth the hassle

Is it just me or since I've updated Showtime to 3.2 - WatchTV doesn't work anymore? It starts but when you enter to see the channels there are none. I'm using my own dropbox list wich worked before that.

Hey Guys,

does anybody know why on some channels the PS3 freezes?

And:

I am using some german channels and i can watch them about 1 min.

then the stream stopps and i have to just normal start it again and it works for another Min.

Any suggestions

It sound like its timing out, on the channels. what internet connection are you on?

You have a 10 MB Ethernet connection yes but what is your internet speed?

Sorry forget that, what I mean is you have a 10 Mb connection giving you a 1MB internet connection. In other words for you to have a 10MB connection to the internet you would have to have a 100 Mb internet connection and that's not quite out there yet but coming to a town near you soon sorry I thought I would clear that up so you can understand the bandwidth you have to what you need to drag the streams/feeds to the ps3 without it timing out, or locking the ps3.

In order for watchtv to work well is reducing the bottle necks and 9 times out of 10 its the networks your end or there's, anyway sorry for long reply but take a look at you connection speeds 1st. How dos your home computers stream feeds and live video dos that always pause and the buffer more? if so that's whats wrong the ps3 times out or just takes time to buffer more data .
