scared if my ps3 is stuffed

hey guys, i accidentally ttook out the power of my ps3 while playing rainbow six vegas. on the manual i saw your not allowed to do that, and now im paranoid of these lines on the screen. not big, they were probably there from the start. but is there any effects

I am pretty sure that only thing could happen is that it messes up is your HDD..if the game uses HDD and you take power off..it can mess the HDD filesystem and after that it is possible that only way to fix it is formating whole drive.

Worst case you have to format your HDD. all your PSN games & demo's will have to be redownloaded.
Best case you lose nothing.
Most likely case you will lose your R6: Vegas save.

im with everyone else. the only thing that well happend if anything does is the data on the HDD well be gone. its like a ps2 no biggy. plus my power went off on my a few times as well. im sure sony saw the ps3 wont be damaged from power outage. but the HDD is another thing. make sure you turn the switch off before pluging it back in to save power serges
