Update package 0.3 for 3.55.2 installs without any problems but when i check my internet connection it says that i have to upgrade firmware in the bottom corner :O Shall it do that?

Well i'm assuming it crashed. I installed the update package and i clicked O to get back to the xmb and BAM recovery menu pops up asking me to install 3.55 or higher, i did and now its fine but same thing keeps happening when i install the update package.

no... do not update. also are you in debug mode? the spoof wont show up unless you are in debug mode.

it will stay on the black screen with the text for a while almost like 4 or 5 minuets it seems.

Do you have to be on 3.55.1 and update directly from 3.55.1 to 3.55.2 because i went to 3.55 OFW and then 3.55.2? I'm so confused....lol

I have had SAME PROBLEM!!! did it to me last night actually!.. i went from 3.41.3 to 3.55.2 then installed update package and after i click O to go back after it installs i got nothing.. just a black screen, so went into recovery menu and reinstalled 3.55 PS3HAX unofficial firmware! Not the first time the update package f'd my ps3 up either.. everytime i install it i always get black screen that says ps3 didn't start up right install 3.55 or higher or press ps button to restart ps3. if i press ps button usually restarts fine but still bugs me that it goes to black screen, because the update package says no reboot is required..

well going from 3.41 to 3.55 i think you should of went to ofw 3.55 first.

ok i will try it again another day.. but i wouldn't doubt that i have gone from 3.55 to 3.55.2 and gotten same results. also i had qa flag advanced on this last time.. you think that might have had anything to do with it?

if people are having this problem then they need to report it to rebug so they can fix it. as far as the qa flaq thing i dunno.
