Is there any chance of a review of the ps2 emulator running on a slim being posted? That's the feature that interests me the most.

I tested 10 games and only 1 worked. (Twisted Metal Head On) All the rest either were very laggy or did not load.

When you say worked do you mean that one game worked near enough flawlessly? Perhaps we could get some kind of compatibility list going? I've found very little about the emulator at all from googling around.

just now I tried all four of the games I have on my external from multiman. The only one that didn't work was uncharted 2. GTA complete, dead rising 2 and the orange box worked fine.

Any Call of Duty game
Super Street Fighter IV Arcade

There are too many games that do not work with Cobra firmware and multiMAN.

El Massman - Twisted Metal was the only one that was playable. And sometimes the sound was jacked up.

Ive found FFX PAL, INTERNATIONAL & NTSC versions do not work at all, up till the point of "Auron Look" its a common bug apparently, cept ive been chewing my balls over it for the past 2 days.

OK I have tested now THREE different copies of GTA: San Andreas PAL and this game is crippled via Cobra. I have yet to have freezing going about town which some have reported on the NTSC version but upon the initializing sequence for the "Sweet & Kendl" mission it just hangs (black screen with yellow coloured-text mission title), although you can still exit back to the XMB or reset the game freely.

Just prior to that screen, you see CJ and Big Smoke step into a blue car outside CJ's house and although the game hasn't crashed as you can still visibly see pedestrians walking by in the background and flowing exhaust coming from the car, the game makes random screeching noises and will not do anything until you press start which leads to the hanging at the black screen.

I experienced exactly what you're talking about with one of the backups I tried, its a shame to see that there's not much hope for it as san Andreas is one of my all time favorites.

I agree, even though I play the Xbox version regularly for the graphics, replays, controls etc I still wanted a nostalgia trip with this title and because it's not an emulation issue (this game works fine without the Cobra via original disk), they should fix this in a future update along with all the other titles that have had trouble.

I mean this and Gran Turismo 4 not working via ANY version? Come on, two of the PS2s biggest ever titles and they're crippled but when played via original they are flawless, this needs to be fixed.
