Error parsing device mount table? (Cobra CFW/Dongle)
Today I have noticed a lot of external games are not working. Some are mounting and others are not. I only noticed this today after I installed multiMAN 2.04.00 but I get the same error using Rogero. I am using the Cobra dongle and their Cobra custom firmware. Would that have anything to do with my problem? All the games seem to work when using the Cobra game loader.
Edit - I decided to just go back to Rebug 3.55.2 and that fixed the problem. Looks like multiMAN does not like Cobra too much. Last edited by Lethal_NFS; 08-20-2011 at 08:54 PM. |

In cobra CFW the syscalls for peek and poke are disabled, which prevents multiMAN (and other non-cobra-compatible apps) from reading the kernel/lv2 memory, hence the error.
Of course cobra loader would work - it uses different routines. |

Well that blows. Nothing compares to multiMAN so I am ditching the Cobra dongle. |

Just tested and it does not work. PS3 will not boot with Cobra Dongle inserted.

What a shame... many ps3 blogs overhyped that CFW-mod.
