Under "Games" there is no pkg option. I tried updating again and it said "currently up to date so no need to update" the PS3 is 3.55 under "system"

try flashing ofw 3.55 from recovery menu and then try the kmeaw 3.55 after that.

Recovery mode you mean? If so I will have to wait till Monday....I don't own a PS3 controller (using mouse atm)

Yeah sadly I wanted to get it setup before I spent money buying the accessories lol. Thanks again for the help, I will report back after I get my controller and do the OFW restore.


Small question though, do I need to download OFW or is it in the PS3?

i was just wonder can u still play backup games thu multiman on your firmware 3.55 dex as u can on normal 3.55 cex just wondering if u have to format your harddrive and if u only can put 4 games on it

u can only flash 1 firmware at a time. i would do it step by step so u dont mess up.
