I live in dubai and ive seen this too people selling cfw with a usb stick and multiman. its common knowledge here, they sell for around 100 - 150 aed about $30 - $45 such a scam same with iphone jailbreak. if people are stupid enough to pay though then there will always be people willing to take their money. what a world we live in when knowledge is not free.

I always help my friends out when it comes to soft modding. I did my friends phat PlayStation with a bad blue ray drive. I've done like 5 wiis and I've also helped just about everyone I know jailbreak an I device but I never asked for a dime. I'm a huge believer in free information and its a shame when people fall for these internet scams. I wish they would do some research first

It's so wrong to ask anyone to pay for information, that you were given for free. It's 100% different if you want someone to solder a modchip inside your console (or buy one pre-modded since they had to find a "rare" one), you're paying for a service/product. But selling .pkg's and PUP's is so wrong! I hope it ends horribly for this twat.
Might be an idea to put credits into homebrew now stating "You should not have paid for this software" or something to that effect, since he's prolly illiterate when looking at code. On the note of helping friends mod their stuff, I don't just do it for free, I enforce that I do it in the first place! lol

There are always going to be scumbags trying to make money off the work of others, and there are always going to be people so stupid that they will pay for what is being given away.
They just need to add, "If you paid for this, you are a dumb bastard" to the startup screens...that way anyone trying to sell the crap gets slammed out of existence ASAP.
