Urgh. Fanboy stench in here is killing me.

The 360 has more japanese titles than the PS3. Take a look at all the capcom developed titles, the mistwalker rpgs and god knows what else. Research before spouting crap.

The PS3 now has its chance to shine, but right now, the decent game ratio in comparison to the 360 is pretty crappy. Give it time.

If you have an SDTV and can do all that, then stick with the PS2 for now. There is absolutely no exciting reason gamewise to go buying an overpriced console which will show no different or offer anything more for now. FF13 is still years away, and MGS4 will be at the end of this year at the very least. Everything else is coming to the 360 as well.

But seriously guys. Enough hating on a console most of you don't have to compare with.

Im talking about 'future' here.
Please read my post carefully. Or maybe its just my bad english. .

Im clearly stated im still saving money. It take almost 1 year to save 60usd. So to buy ps3 it will need many years.

Maybe in 2years i can buy one.
By that time i have about 180usd, and i can borrow some money from my brother and my parents.

Its true that now x360 have great japan games,
Eternal sonata, ace combat, ridge racer, blue dragon (i dont like it), and many other jap games that i dont like on x360.

I have read x360 development and ps3 development since its came out. . .

As for PS2, there no AAA quality game released now. But i still use PS2 as network multimedia player tough.

And my pc is still powerfull enough to play some games for next 2 years i think (ofcourse by overclocking more agressively)

You have to remember, the 360 has been out for like 3 years now and the PS3 has been out for just over a year... Obviously the 360 has a lot more games but I don't really think they're all that great... Halo 3 was way overhyped. People only play it for the online. The campaign's ending is pretty lame. I think the first was the best one, and it wend downhill from there.

GoW is a good game, I just don't like it. The campaign is definitely too short. It's better then Halo 3. The next one is probably going to be worse then the first knowing them though...

I really think that M$ is really going to screw their customers one day with something like a Blu-Ray drive needed for certain games and such (if Blu-Ray continues to keep their lead right now). Or something like a newer system within a couple years... That's what people always say anyways...

GoW is not good. I played the pc version and wew. . .
For a graphic like that, my pc struggle. Really a bad port. . .

Agree with pirate, 360 is a good system (in terms of the games it has) but it is a shame it'll spend most of its days in a box being shipped off to microsoft.
Ps3 exclusives are irrelevant, if you buy the game and like it, what does it matter?

Apologise about my rather angry post btw But I get too easily annoyed at some of the overposters in here who really need to allow their balls to drop before they claim "OMG PSFWEE IZ T3H B0MBZ0RZ!"

WE KNOW YOU LIKE YOUR CONSOLE. Please keep it to yourself and enjoy your games without proclaiming unfounded things about it being king of all. No console is king this gen. Their strengths and weaknesses are all relative.

Seeing fanboy posts in a forum makes outsiders less inclined to be part of the community. I once saw this site as an utter joke, not to be taken seriously, simply because of a few 12 year old fanboys who go nuts once in a while. I've learned a bit since that many who frequent this site are talented devs, hackers or just general scene experts.

Please. Don't ruin the reputation of the site by posting unfounded pap :P

The playstation 3 can be used for so much things, the hardware in it blows any other console away. The cell is a big reason i got it, since i'm one of those idiots who get excited over hardware :P

Cell sure an interesting cpu. But its a powerpc. Only linux and mac that support powerpc. And currently its only linux that able to run.
Oh, and cell is only 1 core ppe and 6core spe. I still think x360 with 3ppe is faster. Ofcourse Cell will be faster if game dev can make multithread process run seamlessly perfect.

So its not really an interesting cpu.

As for the RSX, its not interesting too.

Its the game that make a console interesting, i love my ps1 and ps2 because its japan games. And now i love ps2 as network media player.

I already have ps2 to play my mp3, divx, ogg etc, so ps3 multimedia feature is not an advantage for me.

But, like i said before, the game that mater, and ps3 will have many japan games. And by the time i have the money to buy ps3, im sure it will have many japan games.

As for 'west' games, its also good, but they usually also release it on PC

The xbox 360 uses exactly the same processor as the playstation 3, cept that has only 3 cores and the playstation 3 having 8 with one reserved for the default system os. Sony have said they know how to use it to properly make games using the max of its power. With some of their demonstration videos it looks amazing, now if only they teach game devs how to use it properly and encourage them to use all that space on a dual layered blu-ray disk and we could have some very, very impressive games to leave other games consoles in the dust
