I dont know whats wrong but everytime I try to invite someone, or they try to invite me, and we accept, a message pops out saying Unable to Connect to Host. I could never play with my friends because of this. All my friends have the same region ps3 (north america) , so i dont know if its the servers, or my router or what?

I asked the same question a little while back, apparently a problem at Sony's end, but someone did mention a firmware upgrade coming very soon which should solve the problem, hope this helps.

and sometimes if a game becomes full before you accept the invite you obviously cant join

this is what happens most of the time. usually people say how terrible the game is because of it, but theyre just toooo slow on the trigger.

Maybe also the NAT Type 3 could be interfering? Maybe give that a check on both ends to make sure they're both Type 2. If they are Type 3 you can give a look at the tutorial located here on the site to help navigate and remedy the problem.

They just realeased another patch for it. I believe its 1.5 update for COD4

Well are you in the USA?
I know the USA got the patch and I think it's just when u boot up the game it asks to DL the new patch.
