3.73 Downgrade to 3.55 Possible?
First Post skimmed through about 2 hours of n00b guides, & i still have to ask the newb question.
is a downgrade possible if I have a PS3 with 3.73 Update installed with out any previous mods. I dont have an E3 flasher. I do have a 4GB USB Stick, PS3, PS3 Controller & USB Cable. I've attempted to downgrade the software buy a couple of methods all starting with putting the ps3 in recovery mode, then attempting to downgrade via software update.. However I either get Data Corrupt or upgrade not found messages. So i figured it must be me.... A simple You need X + Y + Z THEN DO A B & C will do fine ! |

no not at the mintue it is not possiable to donwgrade that way you need a flasher most people recommand the e3 flasher, here cheek it out http://www.e3-tech.net/
you can only downgrade with usb if your on cfw 3.55, to get onto 3.41 etc..

Only hardware NOR/NAND flashers, sorry. Or you can wait for someone to work it out.
