I made this public because I want everybody to know why I will no longer be moderating this website instead of me randomly disappearing and I couldn't think of a better place to post it

My Resignition As A PS3Hax Moderator

When I first joined it was to troll and get a quick laugh. I enjoyed being a smartass - and still do to an extent - and getting people angry. I did this until @GregoryRasputin banned me for a week. When I came back I stopped trolling and became seriously interested in the website, probably because I DID have a PS3 and something inside me decided to take advantage of the information this site had to offer compared to the other sites. After I had a general knowledge of the PS3 scene, I began helping users here and there and even made signatures for a few others.

Regardless, people criticized me because of my Anne Frank fascination, said my signatures were shit and generally disliked my presence. Moderator @BobbyBlunt even started a thread in the Off-Topic section which many took part in making fun of me. It was nothing but a hate thread which ultimately led to the removal of @2die4 's Moderator status. I did not say one word and eventually @GregoryRasputin locked the thread and rightfully so.

@BobbyBlunt I am not trying to start anything with you but I am bringing up the past for the sake of this thread.

Since then my reputation on the site has changed and those who I previously had bad blood with are now my somewhat close acquaintances, while others remain... in the dark. In any case, the past is the past and since then I've made many friends, wrote two signature tutorials, started my own signature request thread, became a Moderator and even wrote a few news articles when I could.

Many of you don't know but I want to become an author one day. I'm in the process of writing a book series and on top of that I'm busy with school. PS3Hax lately has been more of a distraction than an attraction. I do love the site and wish it the best but I just can't do it anymore. I can't enjoy something that is holding me back. If I ever want to get my priorities straight I need to start trimming the fat - no offense. In other words: I'm moving on.

Some of you might not care that I'm "leaving" - I just won't post much - and I have nothing to say about you. Honestly, **** everybody that didn't or currently does not like me. I seriously do not give a **** but I am not here to rant.. This thread is for people who actually care about my resignation and I will not disrespect my actual friends/fans with a stupid rant.

All in all, I hope @Pirate finds a good replacement for me. I hope this site operates all the way into the PS4's life cycle and up until the PS Vita sees it's last firmware update.

I really want to thank this group of people who kept a smile on my face

Damn man, you positive this is what you want to do? I mean I respect your decision and all and I know firsthand how difficult being a mod is but I gotta ask, I understand you have things in life to do but do you believe that you need to leave because people don't like you? I ask that because I know firsthand how that works as well. It's a decision I ended up making because of mistakes I made which cause me to have people turn on me, then again half of them never liked me but ehh, my point is don't let people get in your way, do your own thing, and of course if that's indeed the reason why you're resigning and lurking I respect that. Well you made it public, so not much of a chance of talking you out of it, not that i would necessarily want too, i think you are a great moderator and you are quite a smart kid, but that brain of yours is better suited at getting an education and actually doing that book you have been going on about for ages.

I wont say i hope you do well, because i know you will, you have the ability to do so, stay out of trouble, don't do drugs, don't binge drink and only fornicate with nice girls, of course unless you are paying for it and then make sure she is high class.

Now go write that book and stay in contact
