I have the same issue...deleting multiman and reinstalling and checking my network settings still do not work. clicking on update multiman or download themes gives the message "Internet connection is not available or an error has occured!" The strange thing is the psxstore works and browser.

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Check if you have a HTTP PROXY enabled. multiMAN doesn't support PROXY connections to the Internet, so it won't work.

Well, thanks for the quick reply but not sure what the deal is. I checked network settings to make sure HTTP PROXY wasn't enabled. Also, I even disabled encryption and set up MAC Filtering for the ps3. Still no go..any other ideas Deank?

DeanK -- I posted this same issue on another forum - didn't see an answer. This just started happening over the last 24-48 hours. System and updates had been running perfectly until this happened...

I was loving the ease of use for Showtime updates and Retro updates with the update feature... Now none of this is working...

Hi , yesterday I had the same issue as you and was not able to find an answer to my problem on the internet. So I try a few things and that's work for me

First, I desinstall multiman then backup my internal hdd on a usb device (system option).

After that I boot my PS3 in recovery mode. I made a "restore file system" which was unable to repair and ask me to format my hdd. After that I try reinstalling multiman but the problem of connection was still there.
So desinstall multiman again, reboot in recovery mode and try to rebuild the database. Again no solution for my problem.
So I try one last thing in the recovery mode : Restore PS3 system. And miracle the problem is solved. After reinstalling multiman base 2.7.01 I was able to update to 2.7.04 in multiman. I restore my hdd with my backup and now all work fine, like always.

Hope some of you could find that usefull
