Does it matter if I use CD-R's or CD-RW's? Because I've tried every compatible game with ImgBurn and Ashampoo Burning Studio but it can't find the disc.

Actually I've just managed to get MGS1 working with ImgBurn. After the first 2 screens it loads utterly slow, for like 1-2 minutes. Tried playing for a bit and when I died, it showed the disc spinning but it didn't load at all. I'll probably have to burn at a lower speed if that's the problem, although the best solution is clearly the ability to launch from HDD. Let's hope the devs manage to get it working.

may not work

I've tried a couple games like Bugs Bunny and Crash Bandicoot 1 and those 2 games didn't work but some others worked for me, that I tried for me son. May just be the game title not booting. I'm using memorex cdr and Nero BTW.

A lot of people use Alcohol120% which even I can pretty much say is a good app to use. I would suggest Imgburn too but thats iffy...that may not work all the time. But as long as you burn it at really low speed like I think 2x is the perfect speed for ps1 games. I think the speed alone is the only thing you need to worry about for it to work.
