He is dead...saying it differently won't change a thing. "Steve Jobs has passed on" and "Steve Jobs finally kicked the bucket" mean the same thing...and "Steve Jobs is dead" is right in the middle.

I know by saying this I risk banning or hatred from other users, but I'm not going to lie about him...Last week most of the people here thought he was a monopolistic fascist...now he is dead and everyone is giving him praise...I just don't understand that. Don't get me wrong...I don't want him to go to hell or anything...but the fact that he died does nothing to change the things he did when he was alive. He had plenty of chances to be a good person, including a long-lasting terminal disease...most people don't get a warning like that to try to earn Karma before death, and Steve wasted his chance.

The only thing I will miss about him is the laughter...who else would call a WiFi limited videophone, "Magical" when it messed up during the demonstration...who else would say, "You are holding it wrong" about a cell phone? His speeches always cracked me up.

On Topic: My sympathy goes to Steve his family. I know from recent experience(s) how hard it is to lose someone very close to you. I lost my mum due to cancer 5 years back and I know how hard it is to see someone die to this decease while there is no cure for it. How bad (within borders) someone is, I don't wish anybody this decease. It is not only killing for the person him/herself, it is also a kind of killing for the family.

Even people with lots of money can't defeat cancer, maybe a little consolation for all other cancer victims...

It's human nature, look at Michael Jackson before he died he was vilified and ostracised, you never saw a good word written about him and he even fled the US to escape.

As soon as he died everyone was mourning the death of "the king of pop" and talking about him like he was a saint.

Yeah me too, but I was amazed at the turnaround in public opinion. I wouldn't say not human but more that I have a memory of more than 5 minutes!
