Hey,

I was wondering, we already have the 3.56 keys, so why doesn't someone make a MFW that incorporates them to the standard 3.41 and 3.55 PUP?

Of course, for 3.55 you would need to add the other patches for games etc, but an OFW 3.41 PUP with the keys changed from 3.41 to 3.56, would, in theory work, wouldn't it?

Then, it would just be simple to use the dongle to get into games as you already would?

It should be possible, shouldn't it? People are always talking about how easy it is to add 3.56 keys to a current PUP, but I haven't seen anyone do it yet?

And, if it is possible, it means all games up to 3.56 will work flawlessly, without the need to be patched?

Isn't that what we need in the CFW scene... a standard 3.41 OFW PUP with 3.56 keys, alongside a 3.55 CFW PUP (such as Kmeaw) with 3.56 keys added to it too. This will incorporate everything we have achieved thus far into 1 CFW, rather than having to patch games.

What do you think?

We have the 3.56 keys? that's news to me, But if we have the keys a custom firmware should be possible, like everyone else just wait and one is surely to come out.

We have the 3.56 decryption keys, thats how everyone got 3.56 backups working..

Thats how JFW has 3.56 backups working on a 3.41 FW, by adding the 3.56 decryption keys to the 3.41 FW...

Hmm, can you provide source links next time, this is really hard to take in as I have been following the scene very closely and I refuse to believe that I missed this little piece of information lol.

People haven't done it, because they don't have 3.56 keys.

No, we have 3.56 backups running because Sony and the other game developers signed the updates with the old SDK (= old keys).

DemonHades (JFW DH) only runs his video camera if it comes to his announced firmware ...
Wait for the proof before stating JFW will run games requiring 3.56+ FW ...

Dont u guys read the other sites or irc chats at all the 3.56 decryption keys are known and it is already present in the ps3mfw app when u download it,the only keys that havent been found is the private/encyption keys.read b4 u guys speak next time.....raiderscrusade was rite all along!!

and a side note raiderscrusade ur idea is a good one which i also thought about a long time ago.....and sadly i came to the conclusion that if perhaps it is or was possible to implement the decyption 3.56 keys in older firmwares am sure the dev like rebug would of done it a long time ago....just my two cents.

So how would one pack the pup without the encryption keys???

No its not beacuse of sony its because 3.56 dcryption keys was known even b4 the game devs were releasing patches to downgrade the games to play on older fws,the games those patches were been release for was 3.60+ fws........dont u read scene news at all sorry if i sound hash but am just trying to clarify everything for u.
