question on blackcatusb
hello all sorry to bother but been away from the scene for some time now and i am back. need to know if there are any updated blackcat usb files for the 3.7 or 3.72 spoofing like this one. Rogero CFW V2 Kmeaw LV1 Patched 3.72 Spoof. really need to update the backcat, does anyone now where to go to get this device updated and back in the now thanks for all who help in this matter ahead of time.

It is time to switch to CFW and put the blackcat an a drawer...you don't need it anymore, but it might be useful for future consoles (or if you want to hack a 360).

i have heard about alot of problems with cfw updating i have seen many updated phat ps3 go from 3.41 to 3.56 and kill the blueray drive i have 3 ps3 consoles all on 3.41 firmware 2 phat and 1 slim. have never even done cfw before what is the walkthrough for it. so there is no blackcat usb fix for 3.41 to spoof to 3.72? would rather do that way just need the hex for the blackcat or pointed to someone that can make the hex file. unless there is a very good tutorial on it and there are no issues with updating cfw 3.72 than i will try, dont need a brick...lol.. thanks again to all that reply.

There are some very good, noob-friendly guides stickied on this very forum. The main safety precautions to take are to be 100% sure that the firmware file you are using is 3.55 OFW (upgrade to 3.55 CFW after), and also make sure there isn't a disk in the drive while updating.

there is a tutorial for cfw 3.55 in my signature. its simple. also there is not a cfw higher than 3.55 if you go any higher than you loose your jailbreak ability.

i have 3.41 on all 3 consoles dont want to upgrade to 3.55. i seen there where 3.41 and 3.55 cfw cant i just use the 3.41 really dont want to go past this firmware.
