I take no credit for these motion backgrounds, credits to the original authors for these awesome backgrounds.

I decided to make this thread because a lot of people are making awesome motion backgrounds for multiMAN. Instead a bunch of smaller threads, i decided to make a mega one. If you have any motion backgrounds, you'd like to share please do share with us and i'll add it to this collection

Ok ok this is my first attempt so go easy on me.
I went for the K.I.S.S (Keep It Simple Stupid) approach on this one as I'm only just starting to work out how to make them so with that said I bring you:

Thea: (Also known as "The Moon")

This one is a 3:30ish min short story of Thea and how it smashed into the earth thus being destroyed leaving us with the Moon.
I tried to sync the audio with things going on in the video as best I could but still having some trouble with looping it in just the right spot :P

Sorry my camera's battery died 3/4's of the way through filming the ps3 in action so no footage of it on the ps3 itself just the wave.divx

im wanting a 1080p 30min fireplace,will it work if i just rename it to .divx

here's one all done already for you...just rename it to wave.divx & drop it in the hdd0\BLES80608\usrdir\ folder

Thanks man, that Psychedelli Jelly one is very trippy

with all these awesome motion backgrounds being made I think Dean may have to up the limit of motion backgrounds allowed.

Ok - I downloaded a couple of motion backgrounds that were in a .pkg format - when I installed and then start MM I go to the settings for the background display, I set it to video1 and the motion background starts - cool...i stop it and go back to the menu and select video2 - nothing starts. I re-install the second motion background and go back into MM and the background display - video1 is replaced with the re-install I just performed and nothing in the other slots - How do I fill the other slots with motion backgrounds? I also downloaded a couple that are in the wave.divx format, when I put them in the hdd0\bles80608\USDIR\ folder where in MM will the show up to select? And what if I have more than 1 - such as wav(1).divx wav.divx - will they work in that naming format? I also have one named: deep_impact-s.pkg should i rename that to wave(2).divx? Sorry for all the questions - but If one doesnt ask - one will never know. Thanks in advance - Peace

You must rename the files as mentioned in the changelog:

* Added: Option to select 9 different motion backgrounds wave.divx, wave2.divx... wave9.divx (restart may be required)

If you install the wave as a PKG , will be copied "wave.divx" in multiMAN USRDIR (\dev_hdd0\BLES80608\USDIR\) replacing the previous.
You have to first rename "wave.divx" as "wave2.divx", "wave3.divx",...,"wave9.divx"
