Inside the USRDIR, there are two files and one folder: ISO.BIN.EDAT, MINIS.EDAT and CONTENT.

Inside CONTENT there is a EBOOT.PBP, which I guess is a hacked loader that I presume requires the Cobra dongle connected as a security measure.

Decrypting the EBOOT.PBP, reversing the ELF and recompiling it again with any security measures removed, then it should make possible to execute some ISOs of PSP minis. This is obviously not an easy task
Wait wait wait.
ISO.BIN.EDAT?
That's exactly the same idea/filestructure as the PS2 tittles from PSN...
Could this mean that they can do the same on PS2 games?(enhance compatibilty for full software I mean with every game)
Also I would be thrilled to know if I could help on that.
I'm gonna start my investigation 2morrow!
Thanx!

Agreed
The only thing you can do is mount it.. PS3_GAME your telling the ps3 that it is a PS3 game therefore the emulator isnt being used.. Then the Ps3 see that it isnt PS3 format .. and refuses to boot...

Now it could be a simple as finding the correct Folder and file paths.. (example you put PS3_GAME as PS3GAME a ps3 game wont boot..) never know it could be something with the file structer.. Would be nice to get PSP working on ps3..

Try to open the eboot.pbp with PSPbrew, the old PSP eboot hacking tool.

And I'm think this is not enough, Cobra made some lv patching at loading.

Inside are DATA.PSAR and DATA.PSP. For decrypt them we must use same homebrew for PSP (or write tool for PS3). So.... if you have PSP decrypt this files for us and share.

I stopped updating my PSP back around 5.00. I dont' have the ability to decrypt anything higher than that.

Expecting anything but a scam from GamerSuper is a mistake.

My bad. I just have a feeling that we don't need a dongle for any of these hidden features so I started trying stuff.

I don't mean to discourage you but I found out that it will never-ever work that way.
It's a waste of time to try to work around or investigate what goes wrong with that method.
The games must be structured as Minis not as PS3 games.
If you structure them as PS3 games psp_emulator.self doesn't get triggered and there is no way you can trigger it, whether with patches or anything.
PS3 recognises the game as if it was a PS3 game, hence on the right side of each game name the icon ''minis'' is missing.
So when you press it PS3 starts it as if it were a PS3 game.
Onroad it finds out or it thinks that files are missing since the EBOOT is not a PPC64 encrypted elf and it just kicks you back to XMB...
It's no use to try that.
Try to do that folder/file structure trick with a Minis tittle you have already purchased, but before you do it, backup it's folder incase something goes wrong.
If the game boots but after a bit it kicks you back to XMB I have a couple of ideas on THIS case what you can do.

i think the best way to understand better how it works its to have the same game, for example there are minis for psp like the UNO that there is also for ps3, or the psx games that we can play on the ps3 and copy them to psp, check how they are decrypted to play on psp without the need of activation.
I've already downloaded resident evil directors cut for ps3 and downloaded the decrypted one for psp and replaced the files from the ps3 version with the psp version it boots but it needs activation also
