So with the E3 being a dud, are people who need to downgrade from 3.72 out of luck for now? I have a new console, and I want to jailbreak it, but there doesn't seem to be a way. Luckily, I held off on ordering the E3.

From the sounds of it, the best part of the kit is the clip...but it won't work with the progskeet without lots of work (or possibly at all), so even that isn't very useful.

The really annoying part is that the whole reason I haven't made a kit like this and started selling it myself is because I don't have the money to buy one of every PS3 model to guarantee universal support. Apparently E3 doesn't have the same moral convictions as some random hacker making fan controllers.

From the sounds of it you can't do anything...but if it does work, the dual booting is essentially the same as you would have with a Teensy 2.0++ and NORway.

Ok i see slims have issues with this but what about phats, the same issue or is this working fine on those as i don't own a slim.

I also have E3 flasher shipped to me last wends. I have the same prblem as StiV. I have a PS3 slim 120 gb (CECH 2006A). I also did the same steps since it was the closest to the pictures which was postedon their site. English is ver very poor. i also think have spoiled my E3 flasher because ofthe trial and error that I did. Too bad for me, while attempting to close my PS3, I have accidentally dulled some conductors on my PS3's MOBO. Thus spoiling mu PS3.
I have bought a new PS3 now.

friends, can you help me verify if 3.66 can be jailbroken? I do not want to upgrade to 3.73 even though I have new game titles such as Batman AC.

Hi mate You cant Jailbreak your ps3 3.66fw if that is the firmware it came with from the shop as you cant go lower at the min . I am sure i will be corrected lol but this is what i have read.

thanks dazzzzzbo. can i also ask, for example i buy another motherboard for ps3. will that new motherboard be compatible with my previouse parts of my ps3?previously i have cech2006a 120 gb ps3. planning to buy cech 2001a motherboard.

I seen the insulation b4 i think part of the board has to stick out a bit by the hard drive area ,but i think that could have been a phat i don't remember or both maybe like r like that .unless they changed it were it is fully inside the PS3 now & the cover can close 100% + the hard drive bay is not affected no more ??

I think it may be the same way as the videos from the start ..I looked at how it was done when the duel boot was introduced so it may have changed a bit . sorry to hear you are having this problem sux bad when you lose a favorite toy like this

yeah.. and in their website it says all ps3 slim models are compatible.. i want a refund but obvious i wont get. worst, it caused me my ps3 and i just bought a new one a while ago
