This is a video I made, to show how easy it is to crack npdrm content, its not in any way a secret method, all the tools I used are public, I used ebootFIX/MOD, those NPDRM tools just released and the NPDRM decryption keys. its not at all hard.

I added the NPDRM decryption keys to the /.ps3/ folder and swapped out the unself.exe of ebootFIX/MOD with the unself.exe capable of decrypting NPDRM, and then ran ebootFIX.exe

uhhhh, yeah... and where do we find the unself.exe capable of decrypting NPDRM? because i really need this, i can't get the linux decrypter tool to work

is it possible we could get a tutorial out of ya by anychance? especially about the usage of Cygwin? or you dont need cygwin and can just use the ebootfix.exe with the decrypting "unself.exe"? would be awesome if the second part is the case.

....now where can i find the right version of the unself.exe? googling it right now..

That unself which Moogie mentioned in the OP, the one that was released recently by malory. There are pre-compiled versions for win32 in the thread if you look (it was on the front page). The tutorial is pretty much post #3 of this thread..

ahh, thank you, now to try decrypting a dlc of mine....wait...how the frick do i decrypt a dlc!? i know i need a rif... but i have the usrdir of blazblue CS and the dlcs are just edats.. exactly what am putting in for the dlcs? the eboot only? the rif?

EDIT: okay when i did what moogie said in post#3, it came up with some errors and said it stopped working... did I forget to do something?? im trying to get TMNT reshelled to work.. maybe i placed the npdrm keys wrong...? it said something about self header error, no such file exsisted.. or something like that..

EDIT2: *facepalm* ... the rif file. doh!, where does that go again?

EDIT3: ...just realized my game is not packaged.. alright i got the rif key and act.dat for it (wont appear on windows though.. probably folder options will fix that) again where do i put the rif and the act dat before i package the psn game?

EDIT: 4 also where do i put the idps file in? ... see this is why we need a tutorial, so nobody would run up to any errors like self head failed error and such... i mean post#3 helps out on cracking it, but everything else like preparing it, is a different story here... think you can help out? :S

just one question... theorically talking, if i had the .rif file from a console that is not mine, would i be able to crack npdrm and then install it on my console?

Can we get a real tutorial please .. I understand what you kind of did ,but i am wondering ? I know->( Earthworm is 100% cracked already ) Cause i have it .So can we see a game that nobody has cracked for the video to be official ? I am not doubting you it would push my determination to compile everything correctly & knowing what you installed would help ,like only cygwin ?

We really need a tutorial + a full/complete compiled setup !
This would help others who want to get there games back ..
If i were to post this ,not flaming i would have created a text with the steps & converted it to a Acrobat .PDF & post the tutorial link to help others

Because this is the kind of guy i am = I help others as much as i can ,even if it takes time out of my day ,i dont care ... I think you would be appreciated if you posted a nice tut & A+ for you to win rar your setup precompiled for others who dont know what they ARE DOING ...
