Ur thoughts on Brink - PS3Hax Network

I was thinking of getting Brink but would like to know other gamers opinions on the gameplay and such. Is it worth the time.

Honestly I enjoyed the game through and through...i had some probs and im sure you dont want a full long rant on the game lol...bottom line i had fun with it...honestly...i really dont buy games...i live like 1 min away from a blockbuster and i have a rental pass meaning i can rent as often as i like, 1 out at a time...so i rented it...maybe this would be an option for you...i cant recommend buying because i didnt..but it is a fun multiplayer game

I personally didn't like it. It is not how the game trailer depicts it IMO. If you get it I particularly don't recommend playing your backup on 3.55 because without being online the game almost becomes pointless. It turns into a mock online game. Perhaps I didn't put enough time into it but I never really knew what the main objective was. I was just running around killing. Not really my kind of game.

I didn't really like it. The thing with this game is that it must be played online, as offline is a waste off time, and even the online isn't that good.

Please don't tell me Brink is online only ? no campaign like MAG ?

I just watched the trailer & this game in the trailer looks incredibly fun ,but a trailers can be deceiving, lol

It's one of those games thats meant to be played online but it does have a campaign mode. Personally i didn't like the campaign as much as i thought i would.

If there is offline bots that would be pretty cool ..

You want bots? you got them, even if you go online it fills the game with bots. I can never find a full game on human players. I thought this game could have been good if they made it so you had only human online players. Because the AI is stupid in this game. They always run off and never cover you. You leave them to do the objective and you cover them and they never go for the right objective to win the level. They will constantly fight over a health station/ checkpoint thingy. Nightmare of a game with the Bots. If you want alot of stress with a game this is the game for you.
