80gb BC PS3 Stuck in Update Loop

I Have a 80GB Backwards Compatible PS3 That Failed on the Stock 3.50 Update and This Console Never Had CFW of any Kind Installed.....

it is stuck in a update loop and Fails at 4% No Matter What FW i try.....
Even if i don,t Have a usb stick in the ps3 and Switch Hdd,s it still finds a update and fails at 4%

after The Failed attempts i Get this Message

An error occurred during the update operation.
(8002F0C1)

A Local Modder Told Me it Was a Chip on my Board That is Bad Thats Why it Always Fails at 4% But i think He Talking B.S Because He offered $140 for it after i told him i don,t want to sell...

Do u Guys think a Nand Programmer Would Fix My Issues.??????

or I Will try any other Options u Guys Might Have...

You might be using a bad PUP.
Download OFW 3.50 here : http://www.multiupload.com/2NW76RLOFN
And install it via USB.

thats a big no no service mode is for downgrading only , if you update in service mode you will get a full brick .

what about try downgrading in sevice mode to 3.41 then upgrade up the normal way

there should be somethink on this site about hex files for sevice mode on this site
