I wonder if you can install another firmware afterwards or are you still locked to there firmware because i would love to stay on kmeaw at the moment

Now before anyone gets excites I have not tried this but I will. Ps3 Dongle+ Psl1ght QA flag enabler + upgrade debug on + 3.41 ofw= win Many people know you can downgrade to 3.41 from 3.55. If your consle supports 3.41 They clearly stateyou can use ANY. Pkg files. So you can downgrade to 3.41 What the QA flag does is lets you input the series of button combos and unlocks debug settings There is a setting for removing the restrictions on lower firmware installation. 1) Downgrade to 3.55 2) Remove E3 flasher 3) Instal PSL1GHT and PSL1GHT extra (package files) 4) enable QA flag 5) do said QA flag button combos 6) turn on update debug 7) enter recovery mode 8) install 3.41 OFW 9)..... 10).... 11) PROFIT Last edited by Tr1ckst3r; 10-27-2011 at 09:57 PM. |

^^ i wonder if that will work or if you already have your console QA FLAG then you update to 3.73 install e3 flasher down to 3.55 qa flag combo back down to 3.41 ofw back to 3.55 ofw to kmeaw 3.55 |

hi i have ps3 slim 3.73 latest firmware so what i would like to know is, is cech2506b safe to go ahead and do this?
btw where is the cheapest place to get the e3flasher? |

E3 flush
Today is best one is e3 flasher but we thing we wil wait for new flasher may be thay do not need open y console it was fact first relise is never best relise exam,.. Ps3 fat than slim xbox fat then slim mail KAMALSINGH149@GMAIL.COM

This E3 fits perfect on CECH2504 as it was their own model to show the E3. I also have the CECH2504A and this model has a spansion nor chip, so no problem to backup.
My problem is, i got a broken unit from them. |

You can't dual boot with E3, but you can reflash your NOR over and over again to switch between FW versions. This will eventually kill the NOR if you keep abusing it. The previous dual boot feature was going to use a second NOR chip. You also need a jailbreak USB dongle, like the E3 Card Reader. Last edited by wakka_wakka; 10-28-2011 at 05:52 AM. |
