It should be able to. But I suggest you update to PRO custom firmware, GEN's CFW has a lot of bugs that come with it.

Well, its not a full garuntee, i say this only because i have had some trouble playing 3.6xx games on 5.50.
.... I just know i spelled garuntee wrong Edit: whoops didnt notice i was bumping

Its a CFW that lets you use homebrew on the PSP. Its basically like CFW for the PS3. The general definition of CFW(Custom Firmware) is the ability to run unsigned code on the system, that was not permitted via OFW(Official Firmware). CFW opens up many possibilities on the system that were locked via the OFW. Hope this clears it out for ya.
