Red face All you beard growers...

Does your beard ever get so itchy and.. hurty feeling? Mine does.

My beard doesn't grow very straight at all. Just really, really thick and curly... so I don't get much length but it just grows in right full.

So, my solution to the itchyness, is to buy a cat brush and use it like a beard comb. Really works for those matted hairs and getting the itch/hurty feeling out.

Beard hair is kind of like head hair. Needs to be played with, given attention, combed, etc.

How does everybody else like their face? Baby face clean shaven, little goatee, or how bout just a moustache?

I like my moustache :D

Beard -wearer here...

When it's thick/longer...I pick mine out sorta like, Ricky Ross.

When it's trimmed/short, I brush it.

How about shampooing it and stuff? Does that help?
I can't really speak from experience since i can't really grow facial hair well

I do though notice that shampooing my pubes help with itchiness. I don't use much more than like just the littlest amount i can squeeze out but i barely itch down there and the hair is a little softer.
The only problem is i notice between shampoos it develops b.o. a bit quicker, but that's like anything, e.g. deodorant under the pits, shampooing head hair less, etc.

My beard is straight and soft, makes really no difference with my hair, same type/quality of hair.
I'm pretty sure there are things that help issues with very difficult facial hair though.
The easiest thing you can do is use hair conditioner on the shower on them and comb them a bit and in most extreme situations you can use a hair perm solution (same as the ones dark complexion/very curly haired people use to straighten permanently their hair, it sounds funny or weird but I'm 1000% sure once you do it, you'll love it)

I gave up shaving 5 years ago, I prefer to trim once a week.

I find it's only itchy in the early days/weeks, I haven't had an itch in years but a comb defo solves all problems there!

Since I seem to have approximately the same hair growth as an 11 year old girl I only have to shave once every two or three months. I usually leave it until it starts tickling my nose and then shave it off.
