Mirogster, I used original PS Jailbreak for downgrade, also you can use it for downgrade, you have to prepare for downgra process, you can find tutorials, it's hard to explain here, but you can find easy everywhere

There is no rule about micro SDHC or just micro SD (E3 Flasher didn't say anythng) I have micro SD card and used it.

I had ordered 50 pieces for the first time but later stopped the 25 pieces, I thought maybe E3 Flasher is not good for downgrade (progskeet was very hard and not uselful, because it can't downgrade lots of PS3, still not mapped lots of main board test points, very terrible situation)

My customer brings their machines and we make together. They see how to making installation and downgrading. It takes all process 1,5 hour. Really very struggle work. After the downgrade I get out the E3 flashers from machine. I collected the used ones for the proof took some pictures below.

This work is very hard to home users, I don't advice to my customer then they agree we make this work together. In front of their eyes.


By the way Loller maybe your E3 Flasher is broken because I have 2 broken E3 flasher. When I install them PS3 close automatically. They have same problem. Maybe yours is have a different problem. If bring a with smasung NOR I will make a video about that. Samsung NOR flash is not widespread like the others.

Thanks for the screens, but this dont prove absolutely nothing about the installation on fat....at least i've a CECH-K series whit spansion, and on this model the flasher doesnt work.
My ps3 doesnt turn off whit it plugged, but the flasher power on only when i power on my console, and not all led's pop-up, only the blue one, this same problem is also on the fat ps3 used by e3 for make those 2 or 3 crap screen u see on their site.
The flasher start, blue light blink alternatively, but i cant dump bios, i get 2 different error, 1 on led's and 1 on a txt file inside the tf card-
SO i ask you again, are you 100% sure this flasher work on all fat models? You also installed it on some CECH-K ? Could u reteive some screen?
Of he can be broken, but strange coincidence i cant find any proof about the flasher working on this series, the only dude i seen so far whit same ps3 of me, couldnt start the flasher too ( check ChrisTechTv on youtube), same error code.

Do you really have to reassemble all PS3 after flasher installation or you can do the downgrade with the case open and components lying around there ?

What was the error code? Also I made an installation on CECH-K too.

I couldn't understand correctly. I understood so; when E3 flasher plugged on PS3 then when you press to power off button can't power off, did I understand right?

Yes I saw the 3 pictures but I didn't take care and comparison with pictures. After this when I reached a fat model look more careful. Really I don't remember.

I want to say also to E3 flasher; E3 flasher quality is very poor, very thin (like a paper) and breakable in your hand very sensetive. You have to be careful for installation. Inasmuch making so important device why don't add some quality (I shout to E3 Flasher Team)

Yes my friend you can trust me with your all heart. I'm sure 100% E3 flasher works all NOR models, not NAND models at this moment. I downgrade a CECH-K model.

I mean totall process include opening inside machine and closing back (for the customer). Some times clip doesn't sit its nest. Then I open inside (by the way I don't all cover back the PS3 on like video, video is a show) .

Don't worry please I will show you and all people, normally this mission is E3 Team's.
But really doesn't scam, only they produced poor quality materials. This is the most big fault.

At first I was so thinking but not so easy. Home user when make a serious mistake maybe can't repair chance because bricked PS3 for safer must use soldering. I read lots of people bricked with E3 Flasher, it's enough to say this sentence There is a problem in the middle but this is not fault E3 team. Everybody doesn't know good English on the world (like me) sometimes they misunderstand the texts and making wrong apply and later we read the bricking news. Also everybody doesn't have same intelligence.

I don't apply paste after opening because no need it, when closing the all thermal paste will be sitting same place. Sony thought so "it's enough to insulation"

You touched an importand subject I don't assamble PS3, when I was downgrading because it takes lots of time. Video purpose is good looking and I don't like epic fail view on my videos

my error code is 10001100 as u sayd.Dont tell me to press on clip more, i've 3 broken finger for this damned clip
But on the txt file created on tf card, each time i try dump the bios, i read E3 NOR INIT FAIL.
About the phrase you didnt understood, sorry is my english who suck, i'll try explain better.
E3 flasher according to E3 folks, must power on even whit the console off, u just need have the AC switch on.
I'm my console the flasher start only when i turn on the ps3.
Also if u check carrefully the screens on e3 sites, u will see the flasher have only the blue lights works, the power led is off and also all the green lights, the same happends on my console.
Also on those screen i see a ps3 turned on, so i suppose is same as mine flasher, he doesnt start if u dont start the console....

arcadekidflo i dont have any problems, just i've open a war whit E3 because of his flasher doesnt work on cech-k ps3, and now i'm talking whit someone who claim that has got the flasher work on same console.

I really appreciate ppl like you and i'm sad because in Italy we dont have techician like you.
And i also forgot to say if u remember cech-k console have 2 transistor near nor who stay exactly UNDER the clip, i think this is the main reason i dont hear any "click" rumors, i'm courious to know how u avoided the problem.

hey Khalkedon, I'm having 10001100 error too (on slim cech-2004A). What is you mentioned simply solution for that? ;p But please don't tell me to check the clip - it's on the right side (taken form that picture: http://www.e3-tech.net/download/correct.jpg) and pushed as far as it's technically possible (also protected with ducktape).
I also have all led's working.

i also want to share my experience with e3flasher

i have purchased 2 units because the first one i got was broken.

there is a small but heavy scratch on the backside of the coverboard and the 4th leds do not lit up. also the unit wasn't packed well as the 2nd unit has a waranty seal from seller and the items are all well packed.

i assume someone has opened the 1st box and did it intentionally, or the 1st seller gave me a used one. this scratch is far too deep to get by occassion..

i can answer you the 1st aswell.

- yes you WILL need a method to get in service/factory mode.

btw, i managed to downgrade with e3flasher to a customized rebug 3.55.2 firmware. this has also the lv1 patches and works
really fine. no trophy bug, no brick, so you are not restricted to their fw or rogero or jaicrab...

Guys! Could you please clarify that for me: after eventual successful flashing & downgrading to 3.55. IS NECESSARY that E3 must be mounted all the time, for having that 'lower' FW working on console?
I know already that E3 Flasher can downgrade only one console.
