Actually, the easiest way would be mote's batch file, it patches the original psarc files with the Uncharted 3 [PROPER FIX] KMEAW355 READNFO-Nobody, you'll retain the psarcs but with the needed fixes applied.

You'll need to have the original psarcs available and some are reporting problems with subtitles, so it would be best to try it out first while keeping a backup of the original psarcs and if indeed you find any problems with subtitles just delete the patched psarcs, restore the original psarcs to their locations and replace the subtitle.txt that is on mote's file with the original one and apply his fix again

Uncharted 3 Fix and PSARC rebuilded - Copy USRDIR and PARAM.SFO from this archive to PS3_GAME\ and overwrite. - Run fix.bat in USRDIR, make sure you have at least 15GB of free space. - It will patch all 4 psarc archive and make backup of original one in USRDIR\backup folder. - Move the backup folder to somewhere else or just delete if you want. - Transfer the game to Ps3 and load with your favourite BM.

You can play it on internal HDD or external with multiMAN (with the big file cached), the file is only 23 MB, the 15 GB free space mentioned in the info is for applying the changes on the background and make a backup of the original psarcs to USRDIR\backup

Thanks for the info kgb, I was going to try and test if packing it back with the GUI toolbox would work. but that is a better method if it works, by how much does it reduce loading times, that is the only real issue I have, is others missing textures and characters?

I have found no bugs or problems with mote's patch, the loading times are way smaller than they were when i had the psarcs unpacked - i'm running it from external btw - but some people are reporting problems with the subtitles, maybe it depends on the language they are playing the game, i play it in portuguese and have no problems at all but, like i said keep the backups of the original psarcs on your desktop and try running the game, if you encounter any problems with the subs just delete the patched psarcs, restore the original ones, replace the subtitles.txt that is on mote's file with the original subtitles.txt (theres a link for it on the front page topic i believe) and reapply mote's patch

I have tried this 9 times with all the different fixes and it freezes on the ring loading screen and then the ps3 shuts off please pm I am begging you!!

So i did the fix, got it on my External.. despite the load screen taking over 5mins each. When your running around the city in Columbia, sometimes the entire city dissapears.. textures gone and I can run around for a bit or sometimes I fall off what seems to be clips, at one point I was holding on to a cliff in the sky shimming back and forth till I rebooted.

This game seems to have so many texture map glitches.
