Is there still no fix for the US Version BCUS98233?

hi @ all

i have a problem lunching uc3... what actually is happening is that the loading ring shows up but nothing happens (game doesnt start)

What i did:

i got the full game
i used this fix Uncharted3FixRepackv5.zip from the forum
and dragged the game folder onto the bat file
everything went ok psarc files got patched (eboot too)
then i extracted the psarc files since the fix "Uncharted3FixRepackv5.zip"
seems to be only for internal game-play (cuz psac files r over 2G)
now i copied the patched and extracted content to external hdd and
in multiman i turned on bd-emu and external then i started the game but
nothing happened except that the loading ring is spinning forever...

My questions:

did i do any of the steps wrong because i also had a different release that worked?
is it ok to just extract psarc files without patching them in the first place and add the files like this one "u2-journal-lod0.pak" later?

any help would be appreciated

Yeah I backed up a BCUS98233 copy of Uncharted 3 to my external hard drive there are many fixes on the internet but I am not sure whether it is for the Euro or US version please help!!!!!

YES, the fix works for the US version.

clean version off duplex either 28 or 45gb, and the 2gb fix on demonoid,,,thts all im going to say

This fix is for PACKED PSARCS.
After patching UC3 don't extract any psarc files.
Split big file (8GB+) with SPLIT4G program. (it's multiman compatible).
In SPLIT4G: input - UC3 directory (BCES or BCUS), output - ext. HDD directory GAMES.
SPLIT4G will do the rest. After UC3 is copied to ext HDD (with big file splitted), go to Multiman and start the game. Multiman will ask you to pre-install game (caching big file).
Only big file (8GB) will be copied to internal PS3 HDD. (You do have 8GB free in PS3?)
When finished, start the game in XMB.
Works 100%!!! NO FREEZING, JOURNAL WORKS, NO SLOWDOWN, NO BLURY TEXTURES!
(If you want extracted psarcs, then use NOBODYS v.4 FIX. It works 100% too.)

get the missing files and re try it,thats what im having to keep doing,downloaded the bloody thing 4 times and still getting ****ty no goes!
