I hope that new PSN deactivation website can remove PS3 and PSPs that aren't able to be plugged into a PC, or otherwise access the PSN (such as YLOD, brick, CFW, lost, etc) to be removed from the account, since the current website cannot.

All I want to do is remove my account from my/friends PS3's that have been hit with the YLOD assassin. The ability to choose online should have been there in the first place.

While there is a good deal of gamesharing around here, you seem to forget the original intention...if you buy a game, you should be able to use it on whatever system you are at. Personally I know more than 5 people with PS3s, so even 5 accounts is not enough...2 accounts is BS. I can bring my disk games and play them on any of those systems.

As a bonus, gamesharing sells content. I know more than a few people who have large PSN collections who wouldn't be anything if it were not for gamesharing...the prices are all about 5X more than they should be to begin with.

...And let's not forget...if you want to pirate PSN games, you don't need to buy them at all...you can just pirate them.

same here. i disagree too. i used to bring my BR-Disc GAME when i'm with my cousins house and play it on their ps3. so i think this isn't good. sony really sucks and they're ****sh**

also this is a response to the psn games hacking that hurts the devloppers. so the ones who suck are, IMO, not sony but the hackers who broke the DRM protection of psn games.


anyway this is a really great feature that will benefit everyone, other than gamesharers of course

Those on CFW have the advantage .If you don't like Sony FKin u take it back for good ! You don't need to settle & de activate a PS3 every week cause Sony want to rape you ! Own your DLC for LIFE ! You know what to do in this case (DELETE THE ACTIVATED & REPLACE WITH PERMANENTLY ACTIVATED DLC I sure do have 3 PS3s & was thinking to get a 4th to bad for SONY i own my DLC 4 life -> By by & that's all folks !

I don't really mind buying games through digital distribution... DLC I'm not a fan of. Sure the idea is good, but as with anything else, the what it was meant to do and what it actually does are totally at odds.

DLC was supposed to "ADD" to the game, when we know that 98% of the time it's quite the opposite, games will have things yanked out only to sell them off later as DLC. I know there's more, but only example of good DLC strategy I can think off is Burnout.

As far as piracy, the ps2 taught me I'm not a good pirate since I shift from playing games to collecting them. I rather play my games, so I don't bother... This of course doesn't mean I don't understand the different reasons why people do pirate.

I LOL quite often when I think sony actually think that by doing things like this they will turn pirates into paying customers. On the contrary, as I said before, it only makes pirating games make more sense.
