It's obvious he was able to dump and decrypt lv0 from months ago. He was not going to make it public by then, and he wont do it now. This is some kind of "revenge" for his exploit tool being leaked, just to raise his ego a little bit more.

If it's fame what's hes looking for.... Oh my god, Math, you wont be remembered for hacking sony's machine like Geohot or Dark Alex will. You will be remembered for being one of the most arrogant hackers in history.

Arrogance happens on people with skills, but I believe it doesnt help anyone improving oneself abilities. You fall on the risk of spending too much time watching your own navel, until you realize someone else already won the race.

by the way, Geohot himself had some of it as well, just remember the videos he did

Ya it sucks when people post the old "its possible here is a hint." routine. But in the same sense this people aren't paid anything for there hard work and very few people on hacks site contribute to the actual scene... I'm hoping some talented developer picks up on this work and gets the keys out there!

At least somebody else agrees. If he wants to release good, if he doesn't, then more power to him. If you complain about him being a drama queen, attentionwhore, etc, etc then you are only encouraging his behavior.

Maybe if people stopped paying so much attention to him, hating him, and acting like they got him on their payroll, then maybe he would feel compelled to help out somehow. That however isn't the case, so we can either A) stop expecting/demanding he releases stuff, or B) keep acting like a bunch of spoiled brats. Either way we get nothing, but at least by choosing A) I'll keep whatever lil' bit of dignity I may have.

Math may be mad @ a minority group in the scene (as we've seen from the vote system) but putting this out pretty much tells those who CAN make it happen that IT IS possible and that they need to GET TO WORK (cobra team).

What happens if you can't program, can't create hardware to extract keys or even comprehend the work that goes into finding these exploits and learning how to use them?

Simple, donate some cash in the right direction.

Nothing is free in life, homebrewers and hackers alike pay some kind of price for all of us to enjoy what they release to the general public.

Take nothing for granted, dont look a gift horse in the mouth and dont bite the hand that feeds.

Math may have his problems, but we all do too dont we? (why are we judging him?) I admit Math seems like a real snob, but none of you have ever had a snob for a boss? You just gotta deal with it right? Why is that? Cuz thats how it is and Math (hes) a boss. Recognize and respect, or keep on hating its all on you just realize you're hating.
