Besides, do you really trust some troll who claims anyone he doesn't want using his fw will end up with a bricked console? let's say he reads a post of yours he doesn't like....bam!! Bricked console.

No thank you!! I'll stay with 3.55 and wait for a cfw that actually brings something to the table other than a bigger version number.

It's for people with 3.56 BASE firmware (which means even with a flasher they cannot downgrade to 3.55). If you are on 3.56 OFW you need a flasher to install this. And if your console can downgrade to 3.55 or lower, it's best to use 3.55.

you do realize flashers work all the way up through 3.73ofw, right???

also, you DO NOT need a flasher to install it. You must install ofw3.56, then install the pup the same way you always do.

Consoles that came out of the factory with 3.56 firmware, cannot downgrade to 3.55 due to min applicable version in the EID. That 3.56 JFW is intended specifically for those consoles.

And yes, you do need a flasher, because of updater.2 present in 3.56 firmware that has checks to make sure it's not signed with older keys.

u not getting the point yes stay on 3,55 !!! it wasnt made for people on 3.55 !!!! it was made for people on 3.56 !!! so if i was on 3,56 i would install it becuse its better than 3.56 ofw . so its not a trap if it wasnt made for 3.55 , if people on 3.55 installs this then its there own fault they should follow the scence propley and relised its for people on 3.56 ofw

you are not getting the point!!! Did you watch that video??? loading a game will crash your console!!! At least you can play 3.56/↓ retail games if you stay on ofw3.56....this cfw breaks game loading....yeah....let me run and install that right away.

whether I had 3.56 or not I wouldn't touch this with my worst enemy's console!!!

pereb27 is right, even with a downgrader like progskeet if your console came born with example 3.56 then you cant downgrade below 3.56 because the way the ps3 is designed you cant only go any lower than 1st firmware that was on it. So if you upgraded to 3.73 you would need a flasher (progskeet) to downgrade back to 3.56 to install this and you would need the flasher as well to install 3.56 cfw if I have understood properly from what the devs posted.

Update

I forgot to mention also that if the news from Mathieulh is really true that he successfully decrypted lv0 on 3.73 we could possible be seeing a new cfw (My opinion).

It's clear that he won't work, it need a correct BDEMU for the 3.56 version,
I remeber that they said that the JFW DH 3.41 will be able to run games without backup manager wich is not the case here !!!

yeah muti man dont work you .probley be still be able to play from disc and hombrew works .anyway im not on about games im on about that this is not for 3.55 as u was stating its a trap for people on 3,55 when infact it wasnt made for 3.55 thats all i was on about . i dont care about this fw i got 2 ps3 on 3.55 fat and slim , also a fat on 3.61 and slim on 3.72 so i can do every think i want. i was just warning people its not for 3.55
