Hello,
I have phat 3.55 ps3 booting ubuntu it all loads fine but i have to use a usb keyboard to load it from petitboot, is there anyway to make petitboot load my dist automatically? like windows bootloader or grub does

As far as I know there is no countdown autostart for petitboot

have looked into it before when someone got a problem with a wireless keyboard....

recompile petitboot with a script to auto load /dev/ps3dd2 (or whatever partition) after 30 seconds under tty2. Wouldn't take too long though.

You can use "ps3-bl-option" which is designed to get and set the PS3 bootloader options. It is available from the Petitboot shell. I use glevand's precompiled petitboot for NOR owners.

Instructions:
1. Boot into Petitboot
2. Select "Exit to Shell"
3. Type "ps3-bl-option --help" into the shell and press enter
e.g. "ps3-bl-option -O 30" sets petitboot to autoload the default bootloader menu item after 30 seconds.

well this work on slims i cant get petitboot to get input from any control de3vice
(ps3 controler) or Usb wireless keyboard

I assume you understand, but for clarity, the steps above will not enable input from wireless keyboards or controllers in petitboot. You will need a wired keyboard to perform the steps. They enable auto-booting, and as a result you don't need any keyboard to boot your default distro.

I only have access to a NOR console so can't confirm for NAND. Can anyone confirm if "ps3-bl-option" is available from glevand's precompiled petitboot for NAND owners?
