Please do not drag us into the politics of the dongle..
We released this for our users that have or are going to buy the dongle so they can still use their game saves and other REBUG functions. It is a courtesy that is all..

If people support this we will end up paying for everything. Next Getbrew is going to try to sell us a flasher.
All the people we are counting on to free the ps3 are going to try to sell us stuff. Soon the only people who will be able to help us are going to be math and adrainC. Most of you all have tried to burn that bridge

Ok i added to the news title that you still need the TB dongle, hopefully that will alleviate some confusion.

I bet that if I were to buy this dongle, it would be obsolete by the time I actually got it.
I might be an idiot, but I can't understand why it wouldn't be possible to reverse engineer the TB jailbreak and make it so that you can flash it onto a Teensy board for example. Sorry if it's been explained why it can't be done 1000 times already... |

First of all thanks for all your hardwork in the past Cyberskunk & the others, Been on Rebug since it was released & never regretted it
Question for the Rebug Team, seeing as you need the Dongle to be inserted on this CFW for backups to run, does this mean you know how/what makes the CFW require the dongle itself? One would assume to implement it you'd have to know what to mod etc |
