Didnt you try my method ??? Had the same problem and i managed to get back to my 3.72 org firmware. Will try again to downgrade in 1-2 hours.
Try it and see if you can get back to your first working firmware and start over

That's very odd, 100% of the time when actually successfully flashing e3_downgrade.bin is the Golden Point where you know you got it and now you just need a working dongle that works to activate that downgrade you flashed.

Most likely your dongle isnt working correctly on that ps3 and most likely because your type dongle doesn't recognize the hex files in E3 flashers e3_downgrade bin files.

It doesn't matter if i use the dongle or a usual USB, i have no power un both usb ports wich means, that i cant unbrick even after flashing my bios backup successfully. NO IDEA

Look you have to understand that if a correct dongle is inserted whether there is no usb activity the hex files are still communication with your ps3, and if read correctly it activates the usb.

So after flashing your e3_downgrade.bin and shut off ps3 and inserting JB dongle and power & eject and nothing happens. Consider issues with you JB dongle trust me. what do you use as Dongle?

I use the regular E3 Card reader.
So you're saying, that even there's no power on my USB ports because of the brick, de Dongle should be able to communicate to the PS3?

Because there is no Light activity on usb or power indicator doesn't mean there isnt any.

Hey, my mod BKPPS3 is only for those who does not have a backup bios that is bricked on. For example if you ps3 bricked on 3.55 but you only have 3.73 backup bios then you need to follow my second guide.



Secondly after you flash install my Modified BKPPS3 file, you suppose to turn off ps3 completely and then flash your own backup bios of any FW after that flash the downgrade.bin
