whats that error code?

go head and repeat everything that you do starting with flashing the 3.73 bios.

10001111 is "Failed to write PS3 BIOS"

log shows:
start logging...
One Key downgrade mode.
start downgrading.
read 0:e3_downgrade.bin at 0x00000000 ... OK.
erase PS3 BIOS at 0x00040000 ... OK.
write PS3 BIOS at 0x00040000 ... failed.
Program Nor failed.

it flashes the 3.73 perfectly but i don't know why when i throw the downgrade file on the SD card it fails...

Your welcome, thats weird it shouldnt fail, after flash you should have 3 files on sd card, downgrade bin, bkpps3, e3 flasher text document.

It might help if you push reset button before and after you change the switch and one more time just in case then push start.

Make sure harddrive is plugged in Sata Dock station as well.

yup the sata is plugged in with hd in and turned on...im gonna give it another shot and start from the top this time hitting the reset buttons like you mentioned.

just to make sure, the downgrade bin you're talking about is named "e3_downgrade" right?

I am tired with this E3 ****... I can backup my dumped bin but only power LED on green and nothing more, no screen no sound HDD not active anything.. When I try to flash e3_downgrade.bin always tell me 11000100 (not original PS3) WTF is that mean?????

I need help or some hint, please help if anyone having same problem with me... thanks in advance

the dumped bin is the bin that you got off the PS3 you are using the e3 on?

go back and read all the tips pro.hack gave me...im having a problem at the same step youre at only my error code is 10001111 is "Failed to write PS3 BIOS"

yes, backup like 4 times and did fc /b with all matches result.
dunno whats wrong with it...

I was downgrading my ps3 from 3.72, and backup up ok (which I compared with their checker and manually by fc /b with cmd)
and flashed e3_downgrade.bin and turn on ps3 just no screen and no sound..

btw doctor, I suggest you reinstall your clip again with some pressure on it seems thats clip's problem

yup, ive tried that like 3 times with no results...i can flash the backup with no problems but when it comes time to add the downgrade bin on there thats when i get 10001111....dont know why that happens beacuse im thinking that if the clip was not on correctly it wouldnt flash the bios in the first place

after you flash it with the back up...are you doing exactly like the instructions say and not turning it off...only having switch 6 up...putting the downgrade bin with the bkpps3bin and the e3 reader text file on it....then hitting reset then start?

do you use the 1st or the 2nd downgrade bin for downgrade? i've used only the first set of files and had no problems with downgrading. but it was on reference model 2504A
