PS3 Slim BluRay drive replacement..
I was giving a PS3 slim the other day and the bluray drive is bad. The drive is a kes-450a. If I was to order a new drive and replace the old one then it should work correct? Also the FW is 4.00...

because the drives are linked so it wont play any disks if it's not linked to your console is the laser bad ? can you play demos from psn if so it's the laser just replace that then |

Not sure if its the laser, it has slow load time and wont play half the games I try and only plays about 15 mins of a bluray movie... Im still using my PS3 but im trying to fix this so I can give it to a friend. I seen were I can order a replacement for $50 and I will be using everything from the slim.
