According to http://ps3crunch.net/multiman-v11302...ad-option.html v1.13.02 added custom payload option. If you search for that changelog you'll see it's added. But i've tried it myself with a TB game, and ended up with an error when i launch the game. |

Even though an0nym0us proofed it i kinda doubt it is all true since i found this in my options.ini at my Multiman Folder
# Option: load_custom_payload # Hint: Load payload (FW 3.55) # Valid Parameter: <option has no effect> # load_custom_payload=0 So it seems it IS possible to load a custom payload. |

so it won't help as I think
the reverse-engeneering need to be done using a new CFW, not a backup manager |

Point 1 may be true but 3 and 4 are wrong. Multiman Version 1.13.02 introduced Custom payload loading. The folder structure is also the same. even what goes into the payload folder is the same. payload.bin and the patch file goes in there. Also the ini file adding the command # Load payload (FW 3.55) load_custom_payload=1 is legit, older versions of multiman had # Load payload (FW 3.55) load_custom_payload=0 and if you changed the 0 to 1 you had to have the payload folder because that is where it looked for it. Just google multiman custom payload and you will see loads of pages talking and giving step by step instructions on how to use it. however... The latest multiman ini has that omitted. meaning it is not there anymore, Dean may have removed this option as he thought it was no longer needed. I can not prove that this works, because like I said, I believe the latest version of multiman took that out. you may have to test with a lower version. But Anonymous might also trying to mislead others and do damage control. |

Well as i said its still there just in the options ini instead of the options_default.ini.
Still gonna try it out with an earlier multiman. Tried with: 2.09.02 Seems to not have the payload ability 2.09.00 same here 2.08.00 and here Next try: 2.00.00 Last edited by Invi; 11-26-2011 at 04:49 AM. |

(i dont know if these payload is legit) but it shouldnt be a problem to load a custom payload for multiman - i do this all the time on cfw 3.41 with hermes payload...
And even if it wouldnt be possible by now, i'm sure deank could implent it. |

as much as I would like this to be the solution, I am pretty sure it was a troll. although a very thoughted out one, including the old payload load of multiman was smart. Maybe they will come back and maybe explain some more.

There's some hope for this yet. Low, but some nonetheless.
