Does anyone use this over Showtime?
I've never had what I personally feel is acceptable playback performance with streaming media to my PS3 both before CFW and after. Maybe it's just the fact I'm working with a purely wireless environment I don't know. I've learnt to live without streaming media but it would be pretty awesome to cut out the HDMI & Optical cables, adapters and switches |

Works great with me. Just had the best playback my piece of crap router has ever been able to handle. Normally I cant stream movies/videos/whatever to my ps3 using my linksys router cause my the damn thing crashes 5 times a minute (believe it or not it wont even let me play online a lot of times if I have my laptop on at the same time... it really sucks). However, just got through watching a two hour movie with version 1.50.0 and everything went off with out a hitch. If I may recommend to anyone having issues with this to look at the rest of their hardware. If you dont experience good video quality or fast/smooth browsing and playback then you may need to look at your router or the machine running the server. Remember that in order to transcode you need to have a decent machine if you dont want to loose quality. If I use anything other than my decade old linksys router than all my media streaming works wonderfully. Just saying...

I just wired up my PS3 (an old 20GB model with no wireless) and I wanted to try out streaming, this application works fantastic on my machine and hardware. Thank you!!!
No more converting files and tossing them on a thumb drive for me!!! As a side note, I did try to use Windows 7 sharing, PS3 could see my server but kept getting some error, tried this ap and it worked "out of the box" very awesome
